Our journey and passion for canine well-being
Hi, I’m Melody Wain. I’m a Registered Veterinary Technician with additional certification and experience in canine physical therapy and myotherapy. My journey began over 10 years ago when I became a certified Canine Myotherapist, offering mobile services to clients in Australia.
Upon moving to the US, I expanded my knowledge by becoming an RVT and spent another year working with a prestigious rehab facility in California before establishing Optimal K9 Bodyworks. My passion is helping dogs feel comfortable, supported, and at ease in their bodies through gentle, thoughtful bodywork tailored to each individual dog.
I believe every dog deserves compassionate care that respects both their physical comfort and emotional well-being. By offering mobile sessions, I’m able to provide care in an environment where dogs often feel safest and most relaxed — their own home.
